Cheeky Chums involvement with premature baby charities and other baby charities help stems back from 2006 until the present day.
Each year Cheeky Chums becomes more involved in helping premature babies all over the world. You too can help by visiting each of our recommended charities Cheeky Chums are actively involved with. There are baby charities for premature ,sick, low birth weight babies and babies less fortunate and in need.
Cheeky Chums actively helps with Premature baby charities including..

Helping with funding B.A.B.I.S
the Bristish Association for Babies Invetro that are Sick.
Action.org reclycling plan which will use funds to research into premature births.
January 2012 this year we also plan to help Action.org recycling plan for premature birth research planned well into 2013.

we shall be carrying on with this valuable recycling work alongside other premature baby charities in this current year.

BURPS Background
BURPS was established in March 2000 and is made up entirely of people with first hand experience of a child who has been cared for by NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit). The group aim to provide practical and emotional support for parents and relatives during their stay in NICU and, just as importantly, once they have taken their babies home.
BURPS try to give support and help in the following ways:
* Provide someone to talk to who has been there before.
* Assist with travelling to NICU if possible.
* Meet with a friendly face for a coffee and a chat during the long days/evenings.
* Support fathers who feel isolated and distant due to work commitments.
* Help you in preparing to go home and follow this up with our support if you wish.
BURPS are still there to support you in the weeks, months, and years following babies release from NICU
BURPS not only offer practical support for parents and relatives, but also help pay for various pieces of equipment through fund raising and donations.

There are two arms to our organisation. The Forever Angels Baby Home is located in Tanzania and managed by an NGO, under the direction of its UK partner organisation "Forever Angels UK". Forever Angels UK is responsible for agreeing the objectives and direction of the Baby Home, managing the allocation of resources, and promoting the awareness of the orphan problem in Tanzania.
In Tanzania, Forever Angels is a non-profit making company (number 52450) and an NGO (Non-Governmental Organisation) Number 1506.
In England, Forever Angels UK is a non-profit making company (number 5449185) and a UK Registered baby Charity (Number 1111873).
The Trustees of the UK and Tanzanian arms are in close contact and frequently meet to decide how best to spend any donations Forever Angels receive, and also how to improve and evaluate the Baby Home to provide the best possible service to the community. 2008
